Mota-Engil sells hospital concessions in Portugal for 21 million euros 2020-09-23, Jornal Económico

The group sold 50% of the shares in HL - Sociedade Gestora do Edifício, SA, which holds the concession for the management of the Hospital de Loures building, and 40% in the capital of HAÇOR - Concessionária do Edifício da Hospital da Ilha Terceira, SA , which holds the concession for the management of the Hospital da Ilha Terceira building.

Mota-Engil announced today, September 23, the sale of hospital concessions held in Portugal, for a value of 21 million euros, with Horizon Equity Partners being the buyer.

“The Mota-Engil Group informs that it has reached an agreement with Horizon Equity Partners, SA for the transaction of the shares it holds in two hospital concessions in Portugal. Thus, and following the conclusion of the negotiations, the group sold 50% of the shares in HL - Sociedade Gestora do Edifício, SA, which holds the concession for the management of the Hospital de Loures building, and 40% in the capital of HAÇOR - Concessionaire of the Hospital da Ilha Terceira, SA, which holds the concession for the management of the Hospital da Ilha Terceira building, both under the design, construction, financing, operation and maintenance regime for a period of 30 years (until 2039) ” , explains a statement from the construction group.
