Horizon Equity Partners is pleased to announce the fourth investment of Horizon Growth Fund I, through an investment in Energie Est, Lda., a leading Portuguese company specializing in sustainable heating solutions.

Founded over 40 years ago, Energie has built a strong presence in more than 30 countries, combining engineering excellence with a deep commitment to innovation and sustainability. The company delivers high-efficiency technologies that drive the decarbonization of heating systems across Europe, through its four main business lines:

• Aerothermal heat pumps under the AQUAPURA brand
• Thermodynamic solar systems under the ECO and Solar Block brands
• Geothermal heat pumps
• Thermal accumulators

In 2024, Energie reported a turnover of €14.2 million and an adjusted EBITDA of €3.6 million, employing 59 people at its 6,000 m² industrial facility in Laundos, Póvoa de Varzim.

This investment will support Energie’s continued growth and expansion across Iberia and other key European markets, reinforcing its focus on research, development, and product innovation to meet the accelerating demand for clean energy technologies.
