Investment Policy
Horizon primarily targets private or family-owned Portuguese businesses with strong fundamentals but in need of capital, leadership reinforcement, or strategic realignment. We structure investments to suit each opportunity, leveraging a variety of instruments, including common or preferred equity, structured equity, convertible notes, mezzanine financing, or subordinated debt. While sector-agnostic, Horizon places particular focus on industries most affected by recent macroeconomic shifts, namely, industrials, healthcare, tourism, transport, logistics, agrobusiness, and services.
